15,000 barrels a day being captured.

by admin on June 9th, 2010

Coast Guard Admiral Allen says that BP is capturing 15,000 barrels a day and that they will soon capture more.
“”We’re only at 15 (15,000 barrels) now and we’ll be at 28 (28,000 barrels) next week. We’re building capacity,” Allen said. “They’ll probably go back at that point and put a cap back on it. At some point, there’ll probably have to be a transition between a containment cap and a regular cap.”
No word on how much oil might still be spewing in to the Gulf. Logic tells us that if they think can capture 13,000 additional barrels beginning next week, then a
heck of a lot more must be getting away from them right now.
