Every Day Life on the Cleanup

by admin on July 23rd, 2010

Every day about 30,000 people and over 6000 boats get going early every morning to work on cleaning up this oil spill mess. It’s not a glamorous job, in fact it’s hot , nasty, and dangerous work, in really horrendous conditions. But the oil spill workers we’ve met are determined people, who are intent on doing a good job and leaving the Gulf in the best possible shape it can be after something like this. From the panhandle of Florida to the Marshes of Louisiana, these guys are heroes, as they quietly go about trying to put things back the way they were. The video below is a snapshot of one boat, and a couple guys working the oil spill, it’s not super exciting or funny or even that interesting, but it is a look at the people actually working these oil spill jobs and fighting to keep the beaches clean.
