Will TS Bonnie affect gulf oil spill ?

by admin on July 7th, 2010

NOAA is saying that there is a 50% chance of a tropical low in the Gulf becoming Tropical Storm Bonnie in the next 48 hours. She appears to be following the exact same path as Alex did last week. If she intensifies as Alex did, it will mean high waves and no skimming along the Oil Spill for some period of time. All eyes at the Deepwater Horizon response site will no doubt keep a close eye on her as they rush to complete preparations to complete the relief well, and begin pumping drilling mud in the next few days.
